Punishment of Sarkozy and laughter from Gaddafi's grave

A French court has sentenced former French President Nicolas Sarkozy to three years in prison on March 1 on "corruption" charges.

Sarkozy, 66 years old, served as French president from 2008 to 2012 and is widely regarded as one of the most "corrupt", "shameless" and "arbitrary expenditures of public funds" in French history.

He has also been jailed for trying to steal information in 2014 in a case pending against him in a senior magistrate's court.

He is serving a three-year sentence. He also tried to gather inside information about a high-ranking job in Monaco, where election money was involved, AFP reported.

Sarkozy was also convicted there. The court said in the verdict that there are so many 'serious allegations of a person with the status of the president!

Sarkozy will be sentenced to life in prison with an electronic bracelet on his hands and feet.

If he goes outside the designated or known place, he will fall into the hands of the security guards and the punishment for this crime will increase.

Towards the end of this month, his trial for one more crime will end with 13 people for fundraising and fraud in the 2012 elections.

Thus Sarkozy has many offences; Some under investigation, some under trial. Sarkozy's former president, Jack Chirac, was also sentenced to two years in prison for embezzling public funds. However, Sarkozy has captivated everyone.

Sarkozy's Conservative party could not run in the 2017 election because it did not nominate him. Emanuel Macron won the election and became president.

He was defeated in the 2012 elections. Meanwhile, Sarkozy's various achievements have been published in the media.

He spent 42.8 million euros in that election. According to the rules, half of the maximum can be spent. Hollande won that election and became president.

The money was collected from Gaddafi in Libya in 2007. Sarkozy's sentence will affect the Conservative party in the 2022 presidential election.

Former President Sarkozy was interrogated separately in police custody for accepting large sums of money from slain Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

Allegedly, he received tens of millions of euros from Gaddafi to run for office in 2007. The allegation has been under investigation for the last five years.

Millions of Libyan and Arab Muslims are happy to hear that Sarkozy has been interrogated and his trial has begun. This time they are very happy in the media to hear the news of being jailed.

Sarkozy was accused of spending 50 million euros, taken from Muammar al-Gaddafi in the 2007 election campaign.

Libya was devastated by NATO bombings in 2011, and a French air force bombed a convoy of 15 vehicles of Gaddafi at the end of the war.

Gaddafi was seriously injured and fell on the street, after which he was brutally killed. However, the French investigation team began investigating and prosecuting Sarkozy after receiving details of several serious crimes.

Corruption, money laundering, violation of electoral code of conduct, waste of government money etc.

Sarkozy wanted to capture or kill Gaddafi and bury him in an unknown location. He did not think Gaddafi's "curse" would not allow him to live in peace.

Although it is not possible to bury Gaddafi, Sarkozy himself is being buried in the 'dustbin of history. Gaddafi's son said so.

Lebanese-French businessman Ziad Takiddin personally handed over three briefcases packed in bundles of 200 and 500 euro notes to Sarkozy.

The Gaddafi administration handed over 50 million euros in cash to Sarkozy after Libya's foreign intelligence chief Moussa Koussa gave a written opinion.

"I helped Sarkozy come to power," Gaddafi told a rally in March 2001, when NATO's invasion of Libya became clear. I paid him, he became president. ... he came to Libya, he came to my tent, he was the interior minister then. He begged help from me.

Sarkozy's eyes widened after the incident. Gaddafi's son Saif told the media that we would be happy if he would return the Libyan money. Many witnesses to the incident are still in France and Libya.

There are also documents. Such as Saif al-Islam, former security chief Abdullah Senussi, Moussa Koussa currently living in Qatar, Gaddafi's former office chief Bashir Saleh who is currently living in South Africa. The French investigative team took their statements.

But will revenge bring Gaddafi's life back? NATO bombings have killed 35,000 people in Libya. Will their family get back to their relatives?

Gaddafi set aside 360 billion in "state assets" for state development and public service, which were looted by pro-NATO militias. Will any government re-accumulate these huge resources so easily?

Liliane Bettencourt, the richest woman in France, the heir of L'Oreal Fortune and the ninth richest woman in the world.

Her net assets are 30 billion. Sarkozy also took money from her.

For this, another case has been filed for the crime of 'oppressing the innocent'. The woman is now suffering from dementia. According to family sources, he used the new Euro note to clean his teeth.

When this information spread, he was called 'President Bling Bling'. Lillian was suffering from dementia when Sarkozy was paid.

Sarkozy denies the allegations. However, Forbes Media published the report with documentation. Sarkozy has been charged with harassment and embezzlement.

Sarkozy is facing charges of illegally using money from all these sources during the election campaign.

Before the 2012 presidential election, he spent about 18 million euros on election campaigns using fake accounts. Sarkozy has denied the allegations.

He appealed against the court order. He lost the 2012 election. He also hinted at contesting the 2017 presidential election but failed.

Allegations against Sarkozy - The former president's political party, the Union for a Popular Movement Party (UMP), hired a company for the campaign. After the election, the company was accused of spending extra money.

The court said Sarkozy was aware of the extra money spent during the election campaign. The trial against him started on the charge of concealing this information.

Sarkozy's party hired a public relations company for the campaign. The company's financial scandal has been reported in the international media.

Nicolas Sarkozy spends 10,000 pounds a day on food. He has 121 cars in his Élysée Palace. The cost of car insurance is 100,000 pound and the cost of fuel is 285,000 pound.

The pound has been used since this information was leaked from London. A book on his life, L'argent de l'Etat (Money from the State), has also been published. All these details of lavish life are published there.

The Daily Mail criticized Sarkozy for ignoring the basic boundaries between private and public accounts.

He indeed cancelled the 500,000 Garden Party, but at state expense, the medical team used state private jets to send his son Pierre to Ukraine for care and bring him back to the country from there.

It costs 22 thousand pounds. It can be seen that the cost of a foreign tour is not less. He uses the Airbus A330.

It was named 'Sarko One'. The aircraft carried 215 million of government funding. Its annual cost is 95 million.

Some 300 French people called for the deletion of some verses from the Quran. They claim that the verses speak of the killing and punishment of Judeo-Christians.

The French newspaper Le Parisien published a manifesto on April 21, 2016. 300 French dignitaries signed there.

The list also included Nicolas Sarkozy, former Prime Minister Manuel Valls, and the best singer Charles Aznavour.

Muslims protested, saying they were ignorant of Islam. Just as no colour can be taken away from a rainbow, no verse can be erased from the Qur'an. '
Note that the number of Muslims in France is more than one million.

French academics have argued that Islam has no role in the spread of fundamentalism and terrorism. Prime Minister Manuel Valls, under President Hollande, banned the burqa worn by Muslim women on the beach in the name of safety.

According to him, ‘Islam is a problem’. Macron came to power in 2015. He stopped all kinds of foreign funds for Muslims but did not give any instructions about the money of Christians and Jews.

The Sarkozy administration also took various initiatives to stop the burqa. Sarkozy used to say that the burqa was a 'symbol of slavery'.

Nicolas Sarkozy formed the French Council of Muslims in 2003 to form a secular France. He then outsourced religious matters to institutionalize Islam.

He wanted to eliminate the main issues by applying moderation in Islam. But the state cannot do it under the provisions. But the French have been doing that for 30 years.

"The fight will continue," Sarkozy's third wife, Carla Bruni, said after the sentencing. Bruni, 53, is a singer, lyricist and supermodel.

The court heard that Sarkozy could face up to 10 years in prison and a fine of one million euros if convicted.

When the investigation of the crime started with the help of eavesdropping tape on the telephone, the 'cats in the bag' started coming out. Sarkozy had no way of denying his voice.

During the trial, Sarkozy told the court, "I did not commit any corruption." Another trial is set to begin on March 16, 2012, in connection with the March 18, 2012 election. In January, investigators found another source of undue influence over Russia.

Russia's Putin, Turkey's Erdogan and Israel's Netanyahu dislike Sarkozy. Putin told Sarkozy face to face, ‘France is so big (showing one hand); My Russia is so big (with both hands) 'Putin also warned Sarkozy.

Erdogan warned against Sarkozy's opposition to Germany's support for Turkey's membership in the European Union.

Sarkozy called Obama "Netanyahu a liar." Netanyahu was furious and called Sarkozy "bad guys" and "nonsense."

Sarkozy wrote a book, The Time of Storms, which is now a bestseller. Sarkozy's fans are rushing to him to sign the book. Gaddafi's family and fans say "more games" are ahead.
