Democracy in the United States and a Donald Trump

The rise of the United States as a single leader after World War II, and its monopoly power since the 1990s, has been tarnished by President Donald Trump

Presumably, he hit the monuments of the US democratic system. Now there is an uproar all over the world. Leaders around the world are condemning the incident.

They are telling the people of the United States to have confidence in the democratic system.

Even the leaders of the world who run the country like dictators are mourning for the critical phase of US democracy in such a way as if they have just lost a child. Although the reality is quite different; The opposite can be said.

Let's first look at the summary of the incident. At the instigation of President Donald Trump on January 6, thousands of people from his hardline supporters and extremist conservatives stormed Capitol Hill, while a key meeting of the country's electoral system was taking place at the Congress building.

Legislators from both houses of the U.S. Congress from across the country gathered to certify Joe Biden's victory in the election.

As a result, the attack is primarily an attack on a group of people and structures that have adhered to the US democratic and electoral system and have vowed to play a role determined by the state.

This is not to say that there will be different rights movements at different times, but in the end it did not happen. The state apparatus was able to secure its symbol of power.

You don't have to go far back. When the economic crisis that began in 2000 turned into a major economic downturn in 2008-09, millions of people lost their jobs. Various images of economic inequality come to light.

As an inevitable result of this, people joined the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement in New York's Zuccotti Park in 2011 with the slogan 'We are ninety-nine percent'.

Or a similar explosive movement was seen in the recent past. The movement called 'Black Lives Matter' could have crashed on Capitol Hill in this way. But that did not happen.

Because legislators at any level of the entire capital structure do not support it. But Trump and his supporters have the tacit support to do just that. Now that the state has regained its authority, these supporters are stepping down.

The movement called 'Black Lives Matter' could have crashed on Capitol Hill in this way. But that did not happen. Because legislators at any level of the entire capital structure do not support it. But Trump and his supporters did get the tacit support to do so.

It is interesting to note that the whole capitalist system tells the story of a democracy and free will that never represents the true meaning of the two words.

For this reason, the role of the state in various civil rights movements, including wages and education, is completely different from its behavior in the movement in support of any radical idea, including nationalism.

The role of US police in the January 6, attack on Capitol Hill by Trump supporters has already been questioned. Since their role in the Black Lives Matter movement a few days ago was quite the opposite.

Let's take a closer look. The Democratic Party, known as the Liberals, has twice barred Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders from running for president. For this they are said to have employed omnipotence.

Because, Sanders is not a conventional politician. He openly called himself a socialist, and he and his supporters raised a number of issues, including workers' rights, so that the liberal party of the United States also called him 'very liberal'.

In this case, the ‘liberal’ party cannot get out of its own conservatism. On the other hand, in 2016, the Republican Party, known as the Conservatives, nominated a person just like Donald Trump who was outside of politics.

However, Trump, like Sanders, rejects conventional politics and has no secrets about it. But he has the support of almost all levels, starting from the business community, to get this nomination.

There was no deviation from this support until four years in power and before the Capitol Hill attacks of January 6.

In the 2016 election, two people spoke outside the conventional politics. One is Sanders, the other is Trump.

One is sitting in power and the whole structure has protected him from all the controversies he has created. And Sanders went back to his home once again with the huge support of youths.

While not provoking any divisions or extremism like Trump, the state or the deepest state of the state, considering it ‘explosive’, has wanted to uproot him from the beginning.

They can be said to be successful. The question is why there is such a difference in the behavior of the state towards the two sections, right and left?

In Western democracies, only that free will is considered 'explosive', which directly takes the side of the exploited and deprived people, questioning the whole system. This clause may or may not be openly referred to as a 'leftist' clause.

As a result, the hands of the state are always ready to strangle such free opinion. Large corporations directly supply the fuel for this preparation.

They basically decide how far the voice of anyone will go or should go. On the other hand, it considers right-wing fundamentalism as an inconvenience. It sees this trend as an opportunity, not a danger.

In the market-centric equation, the capital structure considers this trend as a new buyer rather than an attacker.

Because, as they well know, this wing will use the power of the state in its monopoly rather than questioning the system of production and distribution. As a result, they allow it to grow rather than suppress or control it.

Donald Trump did not engage in any war directly, this is true. But during his tenure arms sales were no less than in any other period. Similarly, during his tenure, the sale and discount of security equipment has also increased. The resulting benefit is visible.

This is the secret strategy of capital, this strategy has worked basically to make Donald Trump grow and become exclusive. He has the support of almost everyone from US arms dealers to technology moguls, even conventional politicians.

Although he was obsolete with the announcement from the beginning. The popularity he gained through spreading fundamentalism has been fully exploited by these groups. The original calculation was the amount of profit.

Donald Trump did not involve in any war. But during his tenure arms sales were no less than in any other period. Similarly, during his tenure, the sale and discount of security equipment has also increased. The resulting benefit is visible.

This is what Western democracy, which is built on the structure of capitalism, does the same thing. Donald Trump has just pulled open the shell made of liberal, free-spirited words on top of it.

And after disclosing this, everyone has started crying . Because, the whole world, democracy or dictatorship whatever the term is, basically follows the model of capital.

The anarchy created by Trump has therefore caused temporary discomfort to everyone. For a temporary reason, this momentary and far-right anarchy gave the capitalist monastery the opportunity to adopt a new strategy to keep itself safe for a few more years.

Roughly speaking, it has a revolutionary style, but it is not a revolution, nor anarchy. Rather, it greatly reduces the possibility of allying the revolutionary elements existing in the society. By investing behind a Donald Trump, US corporations and conventional politics can be said to have succeeded.
